(CNN) -- Canadian singing sensation Justin Bieber was left shaken but unhurt after an overenthusiastic fan jumped on stage during his concert in Dubai and attempted to grab him mid song.
The gig had already caused controversy among fans after Bieber arrived on stage two hours late.
The incident, the latest of a slew of controversies on the singer's "Believe" tour, sparked a buzz on social media sites, with his fans, or 'Beliebers', rushing to check their idol was safe.
CNN looked at social media sites to see what happened and how fans, detractors, and the teen superstar himself, responded.
MY OPINION
In my opinion people who do this are rude, because if you go to the concert it's because you're a fan of the artist and with that you respect people like you, who really appreciate the famous person. The thing is that when you do this you're not making people have a good time, you're like broking the concert.
What I like about this new it's that Justin didn't stop singing or dancing, as he'd said the show goes on and the other fans didn't deserve the stop of the concert.
