MY ORAL PRESENTATION
 PRESENTATION

IN my Oral presentation, I did a video, with some music that I took off in the Oral Presentation.  I used the pictures and the videos of the Oral to show them how was my summer.

BOYD LANGUAGE AND EYE CONTACT

Well, I looked to the people of my class most of the time. I have to say that I didn't do any gestures or movement.  And I read once or twice on I  was a little bit lost and I wanted to say it in order.

STRUCTURE

I organized my ides, using firt, second... I used first, second and finally or last.

CONTENT

I think that I put a lot of information, maybe too much, because my oral presentation last about 10 minutes. My information it was detailed an original, I didn't look up for information or ideas from the Internet.

LANGUAGE

I checked the grammar and I think I used it correctly. I used some of the american words that I learned this last summer. I used (you know, for example, well...)

PRONUNCIATION AND INTONATION

I pronunced all the words correct, I checked on the Internet. Some times I stopped because I was lost or I didn't know how to say somehting.

SELF-EVALUATION

I would give me about an 8-9.

CLASSMATES

Clàudia, she started her summer on the Arcada, that it's a Camp, in Sant Miquel de Can Majó, where she stayed one week with Gemma.  There were USA concealers, and they did a lot of activites in group. Then she went to Roses, where she did Nauticals sports with her friends from there, and then she spent some days with Gemma, hanging out and shopping. Then she went to Banyoles and she did some summerwork. And then she went to St.Antoni with Gemma, shopping, walking and hanging out with friends. Then she went to Paris, with her French teacher and her sister, about 15 days. She learnt French, she spent that days visiting the Louvre Musuem...
Then she returned to the Banyoles, and then she spent a holidays with her holland family, in Holland and Belgium.

Gemma, she started her summer on the Aracada, with Claudia, as I said before, it's a summer camp, where there were from USA. There she did workshops and she met a lot of friendly people. Then she went to Roses with Clàudia, there they went to the beach, the went shopping and hanging out with Clàudia's friends. Then she went to St. Antoni, with her parents and Clàudia, there they spent an awesome time with them. Then Gemma went to Valencia and Andorra, with his parents and she visited new things and she went shopping a lot. When she returned to Banyoles, she celebrated her birthday, with her friens and then at the last they of the summer she went to the portest of the 11th of September, where Catalonia was asking for the Independence.

Carla- At the beggingin of the summer she went to Mayfield, where she stayed about fifteen days. She spent that time shopping, visiting and learning a lot of english. Then she went to Croatia with her paretns about 5 days, they rent a car and they visited a lot of beaches. They went to Montenegro too, that it's a really beautiful village. Finally, when she came back she went few days to St.Antoni, there she met some friends and she relaxed.

Júlia- At the beggining of the summer she did English classes everyday in Girona, and she met some friends. Then she went to St Antoni, with Carla.
When she came back she took a ship and she went to a Cruise, with his parents, she met a lot of people and a lot of citties like Santorini. She came back to the cruise and she hanged out with friends, and at the last day of the summer she went to a protest in Barcelona, for the Independence of Catalonia.

Cristina- Cristina this sumeer has done the same as me, exept that when she came back from United States she went to her family to China. In the United States , she stayed in Camp Orkila where she met a lot of people and she spent an awesome time playing with kids, and learning english. Then she came back and she went to China with her family, where se visited Dubai, Pekín... 

Jodi Marias- He stayed in Banyoles, he hanged out with some friends, in the afternoons, and he sometimes went to the beach.
Then with his family they went to Pallars Sobrià, and they visited his grandparents. There he worked a little bit in the farm of his grandfather.
At finally he went to Andorra for shopping. On the last day of the summer he went to the protest in Barcelona.

Francesc: He spent his summer in Jordania with his family. There they visitied a lot of things, they enjoyed very much of the trip, and they had a great time. They visited a lot of ruines, and palaces.
One day he went for a day in the desert. He slept on the deserts in tarps, and he travel by camel.


Albert Q-  With his family and parents and some friends stayed in Palamós. They went to the beach, walking around to Palmós...
Then he went to Port Aventura, with his friendy and parent's friend. They enjoyed very much.
And in the end of the summer, he stayed in Banyoles, he met friends, he did a diferents things with them, and also he went a some summer parties.


Pau S-  he went to York, England for 3 weeks, with some friends. He stayed in a english family. He had a great time there.
When he returned in Banyoles, he went to Port Aventura with some friends.

 
Veciana: He spend time in l'arcada for one week.
With his family visited Boí, then they stayed in Brelagne.

Arnau: First he stayed in Mallorca with his family. Then with his tennis team, spend time in Lloret de Mar. And in the finally of the summer, stayed in PDA, with his cousins.


The wrong one!

Well, that was the start of my firt oral presentation, but in the beggining one boy of the class was doing crazy staff, and I couldn't contiunue.

My Summer Holiday

Hi, guys, and Welcome to my Oral Presentation, my name is Ivet and today I'm going to present you my summer 2012. My summer had been preety complete, so I'll divide it in three parts, the first one I called: USA, the second one is Family Holidays, and finally Hang Out With Friends.

My summer started on the 28th of June when I started packing all the clothes and all the staff that I needed for my trip to United States. On the 29th I took a plane with my best friend Cristina and 24 persons from Barcelona. We went to Seattle, where we stayed in a family about 4 days. We spent that time visiting Seattle, and having a lot of fun. In the house we were nine persons from Barcelona, and then Jennifer and her family. We visited the most important things of Seattle like the EMB Musueum, the first Starbucks of the world... and a lot of interesting things that we loved. On the 3rd of July,  we went to Camp Orkila, a camp of YMCA, on San Juan Island. We had to arrive to the camp so we took a ferry, and we arrived to Orca's Island, where the concealers, and the camp Orkila were waiting for us. When we arrived we thought that all was SOO CRAZY, everybody, ws screaming and singing the YMCA song. That was shocking, I laughed so bad! Just arrived, me and Cristina, went to the wrong group, so we had to walk all the Camp twice, to change to the right group. It was a little bit embarrassing, but funny. Then we met the Shaggy Belugas, that would be our group for 15 days. Our concealers, were Maddie and Andy, and the rest of the group was a girl from NY, Paulina, and a boy from Seattle, Koy, that he was originally from Nicaragua, and at the beggining he helped us a lot with the American Accent. We spent 10 days expedition with that group. It was fun and refreshing. I have to say too, that when they told us about the Kayak expedition, we were about to die. But I really enjoy it and I've created a family with that group, it was absolutely awesome. On the second day of Camp, we packed food, some clothes, and we grap all our staff, and we went to Point Doughty about 20 minutes paddling from the Camp, we spent the 4th of July, the Idependence Day there. We ate strawberry, with cream, it was so fun and typical from America. In our expedition we paddle around Orca's Island and we spent 10 days in 8 different island. First Point Doughty, then Suicia, Matia, Clark, Doe, Obstruction, Blind, Jones and finally we could touch the sand of the Camp beach. The best experience ever. During the expedition, we learn how to cook, and how to be a better person, and we did 9 Value's Session, that was like a reunion every night, the were like a reflection, of you, and there I think we learn a lot and we grow as a persons.

Then we met our second group the Lualas, that group was bigger, we were 11 persons. The two concealers, matt and Kristen, and then Eli, Nick, Dallas, Emily, Tessa, Mathea and Fiona. All the people of the group were from Seattle, exept, Fiona, from China and Cristina and Me. With that group we did the LDI program, taht was Leadership, in the leadership they theach you how to be a good leader, you spent time with the little kids, playing with them, it's like a preparation, for if you want to be a concealer. We spent one week in the camp doing "Challenge By Choice" activitties, and now I'm sure you're wondering What is that about? Well Challenge by Choice, means that if you want and you feel comfortable with that you can do it, but if you don't, just don't do it, you don't have to... And we did activitties wich helped us to knew better the people of the group. And then we get more confidence with the rest of the Lualas. The second day with the group, we made a hiking expedition to the TWIN LAKE, there we spent a night, where we made a fire, and we ate a lot of smores. But the surprise was that we woke up at 4a.m in the morning and we did a hike till the higher point of Orca's Island, to see the sunrise. It  was beautiful, on of the greatest things ever. AFter spending a week on the Camp, we left the Camp Orkila again and we made another Kayak expedition, which we visited the same Islands as with the first group, but we discoverd a new one called Torn, where we found raccons, you don't know what are they? Well they are like cats, but a little thief too, and they tried to get our food. It was fun, but scary too. We made a fortress, but they stole us a piece of bread. Then w went to Jones and we mad a Goodbye Party, with smores. Then we came back to the camp and we spent the best last night ever. We went about 10 minutes to the "Dork dance", and then we slept on the dock. Then we said goodbye to the group and so to Camp Orkila. It was pretty sad, but deffenetely, the best summer of my life, and the best experience ever. I recomend you to go to Orkila, if you want to grow as a person, if you want to meet new people and if you want to have the most amazing experience of your hole life.

When I came back I stayed in Banyoles, doing homework and staff like that and then I took a plane and I went to Copenaghe with my family and Moncayola's family. There we went shopping and visited the city, a little bit, and the next day we did the check in to the Cruise, NOWREAGEN SUN. W spent 10 days visiting the Baltic Capitals, and visiting amazing cities. We visited Berlin where I loved the history of the city, it was really interesting the part of the Berlin's wall, the Nazi's and Hitler. Then we went to Tallin, that was really beautiful city, the houses were old but so amazing. Then we went to St.Petesburg in Russia, where we stayed two days, the thing that I liked the most was the Hermitage Museum and the Catalina's house with the Ambar's room. THen we sailed till Helsinki, and I have to say that I didn't really like it. And our next stop was in Estocolm, that we've been there before, but it was fine because it's one of the most beautiful cities for me. I really enjoy to see the changing guard. And then we came back to Copenaghe where we took a plane and we came back to Catalonia. But this is what happended if we talk about the visit, but in the ship we really had a great time. Every night we were in the disco.. and we met people of all around the world, from Mexico, from United States, and a lot of people from Spain, I really enjoyed that holidays.

And the last part was Hanging out with friends.. Well that part started when we came back to the cruise and the next day, we went to see the Barça and Real Madrid match. it was awesome but the next day I didn't have voice. Then I started meeting my friends and hanging out with them.

The conclusion of this Oral Presentation, it's that, this last summer was the best of my life, and I'm preparing all the staff for next year, I can't wait to go to Camp Orkila again...
